What is nƒerence Explore?

nƒerence Explore is a code-free tool that leverages de-identified aggregate electronic health record data to drive hypothesis testing and new hypothesis generation.

    Description

    The Cohort Visualizer provides access to the de-identified, structured and unstructured nƒerence EHR data. Users can build and save cohorts with detailed inclusion and/or exclusion criteria spanning demographics, diseases, drugs, procedures, measurements and labs, and notes, with each criteria including optional temporal filters. AI-powered analytics and advanced statistics features such as Kaplan-Meier curves and propensity matching allow users to dive deeper and uncover new insights.

    • Contains over 3.5 million de-identified patient records.
    • Included cohort builder with detailed inclusion/exclusion criteria and temporal filters.
    • Data is refreshed quarterly.
    • Can be accessed using a self service web tool at no cost to users.

        Limitation

        • Data start dates and refresh dates differ from RD and SD.
        • Proprietary de-identification process differs from those used for other VUMC tools.
        • Does not integrate with other tools like BioVU and ImageVU.
        • Available for research purposes only.
