•Identify safeguards that are in place to make research safe and ethical 

•Develop a preliminary research question based on community‐identified problems/concerns.

Research Methods & Roles for community Members

Learning Objectives

•Articulating the current and emerging roles that stakeholders can play in the research process.

•Explaining the different phases of research in relation to community/stakeholder engagement.
